Shortly after 7:30 p.m. Tuesday night January 24, Baltimore County Fire Department Engine 19 (Garrison station) and Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company Engine 312 were alerted for smoke reported in the area of Reisterstown Road and Olive Lane. Units arriving in the area found smoke and fire showing from a 2-story office building in the 9900 block of Reisterstown Road across the street from the St. Thomas Shopping Center and requested a full fire box, bringing additional units to the scene including Engine 321, Squad 322 and Tower 323 from the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company. Units laid several hoselines, made an aggressive attack and held the fire to one unit of the building. A Baltimore County fire investigator was requested to the scene to determine the cause of the fire.
