Shortly after 4 am on Sunday, October 13, Baltimore County Fire Department Engine & Medic 2 were alerted for a vehicle crash (Box 2-20) on Reisterstown Road near Slade Avenue. While units were enroute, additional calls to 911 reported someone was possibly trapped in the vehicle, and a Rescue Box was dispatched. BCoFD Engine 2 arrived and confirmed an SUV had driven off the road, struck a building at 507 Reisterstown Road, and the driver was trapped. Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company Tower 323 and Baltimore County Fire Department Truck 18 responded and extricated the victim, who was transported by Medic 2 to Sinai Hospital's trauma unit. The Baltimore County Police Department's Crash Team is investigating this crash.
