Shortly after midnight Tuesday, Nov. 14, Owings Mills Volunteer Fire Company Engine 311 responded to a fire alarm at the Hilton Garden Inn hotel, 4770 Owings Mills Blvd. Upon arrival, Engine 311's crew found smoke & fire in a room on the 2nd floor and requested the remainder of the 1st alarm assignment. Responding were BC 22, Engine 461 (Liberty Road Volunters), and Engines 18, 19 & 2 (Baltimore County Fire Dept.); Truck 313 (Owings Mills Volunteers), Truck 18 (Baltimore County Fire Dept.), IV 118, Medic 19, and EMS 5. Engine 56, Squad 414 (Reisterstown Volunteers), and Air Unit 426 (Boring Volunteers) were later added to the assignment.
