Around 6 p.m. on Friday July 13, 2007, Squad 322 and Tower 323 from the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company responded with Baltimore County Fire Dept. Engine 2, EMS5, BC2 and Medic 2 to an MVA involving a Ford SUV and a tree, with 2 people trapped, on Park Heights Avenue near Timber Line Road. Firefighter Josh Schumer on Squad 322 assumed command and reported two patients trapped in a vehicle off the side of the road. Crews used multiple saws to remove the tree and allow for patient access. One patient was flown via Maryland State Police Trooper 2 to Shock Trauma, and the second patient was transported via medic unit to an area hospital.
