Baltimore County westside fire units were dispatched to a reported building explosion in the 3400 block of Carriage Hill Circle in Randallstown on the morning of April 11, 2018. First arriving units found heavy damage to several units in a 3-story garden-style apartment building with several windows blown out, but no fire and no injuries. Firefighters used gas meters to monitor levels of dangerous gases and found low readings; BGE was requested to respond and determined the natural gas explosion was accidental and originated from a second-floor HVAC unit.
