Shortly after 1 a.m. on Wednesday, July 18, units on Baltimore County's westside were alerted for Fire Box 31-11, reporting a townhome on fire on Rachel Ct off Hammershire Rd in Owings Mills. The officer on first arriving Engine 311 reported heavy fire through the roof of an end unit townhome and requested a second alarm. Multiple lines were laid, and Owings Mills Truck 313 put their ladder pipe into operation. An aggressive attack held the fire to just the one unit.
