On the afternoon of Saturday, Feb. 3, BCoFD Engine 2 and Pikesville Volunteers Medic 325 responded to a report of a car down an embankment on Pomona South in Pikesville. Arriving units found a car had slid approximately 25 feet down an embankment, coming to rest on its wheels in a creek with an elderly male driver inside. Pikesville Volunteers Tower 323 was special-called to the scene to assist with a stokes basket rescue to bring the victim up the hill to waiting EMS crews. The man was transported as a Priority 1 to Sinai Hospital.
