Around 9:30 p.m. on Friday October 13th, west side units in Baltimore County, MD were dispatched to a report of a building fire at the Boston Market on Reisterstown Road in downtown Pikesville. Engine 2, responding from quarters two blocks away, reported fire and smoke showing from the roof area. Further investigation revealed a fire involving a rooftop HVAC unit, with extension into the roof and ceiling area, with heavy smoke in the building. Units making an aggressive attack knocked the fire quickly, and command requested Fire Investigation Division to the scene. Units responding were: Baltimore County Fire Dept.: Battalion Chief 2, Engines 2, 18, 19, Truck 18, Medic 19; Pikesville Volunteers Engine 321, Squad 322, & Tower 323; Lutherville Volunteers Squad 303; Boring Volunteers Air Unit 426; Box 234 Association Rehab 156.
