BCoFD Engine 19 (Garrison career) arrrived with a fully involved dumpster in a difficult to access area, and the PVFC crews assisted while Station 19 and Chestnut Ridge Volunteer firefigfighters extinguished the fire. As this incident was nearing an end, around 11:30 p.m. BCoFD Dispatch toned units for Fire Box 33-9, in the area of Flannery Lane and Pembroke Avenue, for a reported house fire. IV335 (Woodlawn volunteers) arrived with smoke showing from a house at 5711 Pembroke Avenue, and when firefighters made entry they reported a basement fire.
