Just before 1800 hours on Friday, February 8, Pikesville VFC Tower 323 and Engine 321 responded with other westside units for a reported house fire with possible people trapped (33-8 Fire Box) at 3609 Telmar Road in Woodlawn. While en route, Engine 331 (Woodlawn Volunteers) reported smoke showing from Liberty Road, and upon arrival reported fire & smoke showing from an occupied dwelling. Baltimore City FD Truck 12, who had responded with Engine 40, reported people possibly in the basement, and crews made an aggressive attack on the fire, advancing a hoseline through the front door. Tower 323’s crew assisted in the basement and first floor, while Engine 321 staged. Firefighters were able to quickly knock down the fire.
