On Sunday afternoon, June 22, PVFC Squad 322 responded with BCoFD units to a reported vehicle into a house on Stevenson Road in Pikesville. Engine 2 (Pikesville career) and the Squad arrived simultaneously to find a Ford Explorer that had jumped the curb, run over a mailbox, and drove into the side of a house, trapping the female driver and causing a significant amount of damage to the structure in the area of the garage. Witnesses reported the driver was attempting to pick up merchandise from a yard sale at the house when the crash occurred. Crews had to use saws to remove several trees that were obstructing the rescue effort before extricating the patient,who was transported via Medic 2 to an area hospital.
