Around 430 p.m. Christmas Eve afternoon, Baltimore County Engine and Medic 2 (Pikesville career station) were dispatched for a vehicle crash at Park Heights Avenue and I-695 (Box 2-12). Upon arrival, Engine 2 reported a multi-vehicle crash with several patients and requested a second medic unit, and Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company Medic 325 was dispatched. Command later requested two additional ALS units (Medic 14 and Medic 19) and BCoFD HazMat 114 to assist with a fluid spill. Four patients were transported to area hospitals, including one seriously injured patient who was taken to Sinai Hospital's trauma unit.
