Milford Mill, MD - Nov 26, 2008 - Shortly before 4 p.m. Wednesday Nov 26, Baltimore County (MD) Department units were alerted for a reported house fire at 3620 Old Milford Mill Road in Milford Mill (Fire Box 3-13). While responding, units were advised that Baltimore County Police were on the scene advising heavy smoke was coming from a 2 story house and that people were jumping from windows and a person might still be inside. BC22 (Lancaster) requested an additional engine and medic and Fire Dispatch upgraded the call to a fire rescue box, bringing PVFC Squad 322 and other units to the scene. BCoFD Engine 3 (Woodlawn career) arrived with smoke showing, and command shortly advised fire and smoke from side Charlie. Firefighters made an aggressive attack and were able to quickly extinguish the fire, which reportedly began on the stove and extended through much of the first floor. Police officers and a civilian reportedly pulled a woman from the house prior to the arrival of fire department units. She was transported to Northwest Hospital by BCoFD Medic 3.
