Shortly after 10:30pm on Friday, October 11,, Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company Ambulance 325 was alerted with Baltimore County Fire Department Engine 2 for a vehicle crash reported near the Doubletree Hotel on Reisterstown Road in Pikesville. As units were enroute, additional calls to 911 reported someone was possibly trapped in one of the vehicles, and Rescue Box 2-10 was dispatched, with PVFC's Tower 323 and additional units added to the assignment. BCoFD Engine 2 arrived first, reporting a two-vehicle crash and confirmed entrapment. Firefighters were able to free one patient from their vehicle in less than 10 minutes; two patients were transported by Ambulance 325 and BCoFD Medic 2 to area hospitals. The crash is under investigation by the Baltimore County Police Department.
