About 8:30 p.m. Thursday, November 29, Baltimore County westside fire units were alerted for a reported garage fire at a house in the 1900 block of Calais Court in Westview (Fire Box 13-21). Fire Dispatch received several calls reporting this incident, and BCoFD Truck 13 (Westview career) arrived reporting heavy fire showing from the garage of a 1-story home with extension into the house. Crews made an aggressive attack and were able to knock the fire in under 10 minutes, however a Jaquar car was destroyed and the house sustained significant damage.
