In mid-afternoon on Saturday, September 10, 2022, Baltimore City Fire Department westside units were alerted for Box Alarm 40-20, reporting a house fire on Egerton Rd. Units arrived with heavy smoke and fire showing from a 3-story single family house at 3806 Egerton Rd. Firefighters initially encountered problems establishing a water supply, and the Battalion Chief ordered exterior operations before crews ventilated the roof and were able to secure water for several hoselines.
