Crews at the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company were kept busy Monday night, responding to an auto accident with entrapment in Owings Mills and a house fire in Pikesville. Around 8:30 p.m. while returning to Station 32 from am earlier call, PVFC Squad 322 was alerted for Rescue Box 31-2. Owings Mills VFC Engine 312 was on the scene of a three-vehicle crash at Owings Mills Boulevard & S Dolfield Road with entrapment and requesting the rescue assignment. The Squad crew assisted with stabilizing one of the vehicles and with patient care. Two patients were transported to area hospitals. About an hour later, PVFC Engine 321 and Squad 322 were alerted with other westside units for Fire Box 2-23, reporting a house fire in the 6900 block of Brookmill Road. Crews had a small fire between the first and second floors of an end unit duplex house and made a quick knock of the fire and evacuated the smoke.
