Shortly after 2am on Friday, July 28th, Baltimore County Fire Department Engine 13 from the Westview career station was alerted for a reported automatic fire alarm sounding at the Mercedes Benz of Catonsville dealership on Baltimore National Pike. Upon arrival, smoke was showing from the service bay of the dealership and a full assignment was requested (Fire Box 13-27). Firefighters laid several supply lines, forced open roll-up doors and found several vehicles on fire in the service area with heavy smoke conditions and low visibility. A Working Fire Dispatch was requested, with mutual aid from Howard County Fire Department Station 2.
