Shortly before 6 pm on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company IV325 was responding to assist fire department & police department units on a call when they came upon a crash at the intersection of Old Court Road and Seven Mile Lane. The crash involved a civilian vehicle and Baltimore County Police Department 4th Precinct patrol car #426, which was also responding to that same call. IV325 transported the police officer to the R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore; BCoFD Medic 2 transported two civilians to Northwest Hospital. The crash is being investigated by the BCoPD Crash Team.
