Just before 130pm on Friday, February 27, Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company Engine 321 responded with other Baltimore County Fire Department westside units for a report of solar panels on fire on the roof of a house in the 1300 block of Saddleback Road in Pikesville. BCoFD Engine 2 arrived with light smoke showing, and Engine 321 laid a supply hoseline at the intersection of Sudvale Rd & Carnation Ct. Firefighters were able to extinguish a fire burning in the solar panels and prevent extension into the house.
