Photos taken by Jordan, age 11: Shortly after 9 a.m. Saturday, October 15, Baltimore County Fire Department units were dispatched to the 6100 block of Falls Road in Brooklandville (Fire Box 14-17) for a reported garage fire. Baltimore County Fire Department Engine 14 (Brooklandville station) arrived with heavy fire showing from a 1-story detatched garage. Units from career stations in Brooklandville, Pikesville, Towson and Hillendale and from the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company responded to the scene. Firefighters were able to knock the flames down in about 15 minutes but the garage was destroyed and siding on a house at 6219 Falls Road was melted due to the heat. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
