The members of the Pikesville Volunteer Fire Company wish to thank the community for their support of the "Dancing In The Streets" event on August 23, 2009. Several thousand people filled Sudbrook Lane and the PVFC firehouse enjoying 50s and 60s music from JD & The Blades and from Big Cam and the Lifters, good food, Corvettes and classic cars, and more. This event, held in conjunction with the Pikesville Chamber of Commerce, will help the fire company purchase much-needed equipment including a new advanced life support ambulance and a new heavy rescue squad.
